i'm writing this because

i'm really into weed in this stage of my life

and i've got the equipment necessary to record music, i'll record video game shit or whatever i don't really care. as long as it's not pokemon

yea fuck pokemon music

except the theme

but yea, i'm going to start out covering some buckethead just because i can record a bunch of that right off the bat. and then by the time i submit some stuff i'll have more followers.

it's absolutely free as long as you don't sell music and is absolutely fully features. great vst support etc.

i'd also reccomend getting a drum sampling program like ezdrummer, there are a million torrent for it out there and it sounds great.

get a nice interface if you don't have one, they aren't particularly expensive for cheap one's but they have great recording quality.

i don't really feel like messing around with like computer-made drumming shit.

i'd rather get a drummer and go into a recording studio and record them playing.

my friend has a recording studio i just remembered haha

Stalking the comments: I use audacity too, annd find that I'd rather have something authentic then a computer generated program, anyone can download it and place all kinds of blast beats or whatever they're into, but it takes a true person with talent to construct what they want onto a physical medium.
